About Me

SJ.jpg

Hiaaa Everyone <3

I'd like to introduce myself, and tell you a little about my history (Also to show not all hairdressers are scary)

My name is Siobhan.

I’m 32, and a mam to an almost two year old little boy.

(Juggling a business with a toddler going through the terrible twos isn’t for the faint hearted)

I have been in the hairdressing industry for a total of 17 years (Safe to say, I always knew what I wanted to do)

I was a Saturday girl at the age of 15.

Completed a Hairdressing NVQ in year 10 & 11 at school.

Completed one full year at the hairdressing college, (worst decision ever) and decided to re take that year, as well as complete a full 5 year course as an apprentice (No short cuts or super quick qualifications for this stylist. I put in the work)

(Working in a salon is always the best to way to gain the most experience. Not just with hair, but with the clients. People skills is a must in this industry)

Once qualified, I worked in a different salon for a total of 9 years, to get as much knowledge and experience as possible

(To add to my experience belt, I also cut wigs for a shop called Natrual Look Wigs)

After a total of 14 years working in a salon, I decided to take the leap, and go self employed as a mobile hair stylist.

(The scariest but best thing I’ve ever done)

I’m so proud to say that as of September this year, I will be hitting my 4 years in business anniversary.

And it’s all thanks to each and everyone of you.

All your likes/tags/shares/friend invites/recommendations etc have helped grow my small business, to which I am and forever will be so grateful.

I appreciate you all for your support.

I have so much love and passion for this industry.

Seeing all your faces when your hair goals are achieved, words can’t describe.

I always say “It’s not just a job when you love what you do "It may sound cheesy to some, but the ones that truly know me, know how much I love what I do<3
